Fiorentina’s Director of sport Daniele Pradé says Rocco Commisso is ‘sorry for the fans’ after La Viola’s 2-2 draw against Spezia.

"A team like us, that has a two-goal lead after four minutes, must bring home the result,” Pradé told Radio Bruno Toscana.

“The president is sorry for the fans. We are all sorry but we only played for games and we must not give up.”

“Individually we are strong and we must know how to impose ourselves.

“Spezia has shown character and personality, they deserve the praise.

“It’s also true that the game changed with a particular goal, but we must regret both for not winning and because we didn’t show our values.

“We just have to work during the week, stay together and move on.

[Sofyan] Amrabat made a great game today but this is not enough in Serie A. Now we have to start again.

Beppe Iachini is under pressure after picking up only four points from the first four Serie A games of the season. La Viola face Udinese at the Stadio Artemio Franchi next weekend.

“Every game is a decisive, important test. I didn’t expect this start, after the first two games I thought we’d be more ahead.”
