Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso returned to Florence and said he wanted to take some vaccines with him given that Italy's vaccination campaign is slowing down.

Commisso returned to the USA in February and is now back in Italy to follow the team and discuss the future strategies with the club's directors.

Fiorentina host Atalanta at the Artemio Franchi, this afternoon, becoming the first Serie A game to air on one of the major U.S. broadcast networks.

"I am feeling well. There are many things to decide," Commisso told journalists upon his return to Florence.

"When I am here, you want me to return to the US, and when I am down there, you want me here. That's how life is.

"I don't know how long I am going to stay. I will meet the team before the game."

Commisso did also joke about Italy's slow vaccination campaign.

"I wanted to take some vaccines here, but they didn't let me."
