Federico Chiesa was vague on his future, but Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso “would be very irritated if Juventus had interfered.”

There were growing reports today that Chiesa demanded a transfer, having already agreed personal terms with Juve.

The Italy international was alongside Commisso and Coach Vincenzo Montella as they visited the New York Stock Exchange this evening and spoke to Class CNBC.

“Chiesa has done great work with us, we are very proud of him,” said Commisso.

“Fiorentina must be like a family. We’ll see what happens with Federico. If it should emerge that Juventus had interfered, then I would be very irritated.”

Chiesa was also asked about his future and remained very vague on the situation.

“I thank the President for this experience, I am happy to be here. I just think about training and then I’ll talk to the club. We’ll sit down like a family and discuss all the issues. It's not a problem.

"Any decisions for the future are postponed. I am focused on just getting back to 100 per cent fitness now."
