Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso has claimed his ‘two conditions’ must be met before Federico Chiesa can leave the Artemio Franchi.

Amid rumours about Juventus having targeted Chiesa, the Viola patron continues to insist a deal has not been made between the two clubs.

“I have treated him like a son, I’m one of those who pampers the players,” Commisso told the Corriere dello Sport. “I don’t sell the best players I have to bring in players I don’t know.

“There are two conditions of letting him leave. The first is that Federico asks me, and he has not done that to this date.

“The second, that the offer is in line with the assessment of his value to the club. I could only satisfy him if those two things are met, but, as I explained; Chiesa never asked me, neither [CEO] Joe [Barone] nor [sporting director Daniele] Prade, to leave.

“I have been away from Florence for two months, when I return, the future of Chiesa and [Gaetano] Castrovilli will not be the first problem I have to face, but the second.”
