Torino’s general manager Antonio Comi calls Europa League opponents Athletic Bilbao a ‘great club’.

The Granata will face the Spanish side in the Last 32 of the Europa League after being paired with the Basque club in today’s draw.

“We will face a great team in an atmospheric stadium, this makes us very proud,” Comi told Mediaset after the draw was made.

“We’ve grown so much in recent years, we hope to continue on this path and in this competition.”

The Torino director also discussed the club’s plans in the transfer market, indicating that the Granata would not buy a striker.

“We have [Fabio] Quagliarella, who is an top striker, [Josef] Martinez is emerging.

“We have good strikers, we’ll see what happens in the future.”
