Franco Colomba has revealed that he will hold talks with Parma on Monday about becoming their new boss.

The Gialloblu axed Pasquale Marino yesterday after a shock 2-1 home loss to bottom of the table Bari.

Colomba was immediately linked with the job and he's today admitted that he could take over at the Stadio Tardini.

"There was a phone call this morning," Colomba told TMW. "There will be a meeting later today. I'm just waiting for indications from Parma."

Colomba started the season at Bologna but was sacked before their first League game of the campaign.

Because he didn't oversee a Serie A match, he's still available for hire and was linked with the Bari job before they netted Bortolo Mutti earlier this year.

Silvio Baldini and Giancarlo Camolese are also candidates to take the role until the end of the season.

Whoever is appointed, their job will be to keep Parma in the top-flight. They are just two points above the drop zone.
