According to The Guardian newspaper, Everton have begun talks with the Nerazzurri to take Shaqiri on loan.
This is a problem for Inter, who need to sell several stars in order to balance the books and want the 23-year-old gone for at least €18m.
They are having difficulty shifting several of their unwanted players this summer, including Danilo D’Ambrosio, Yuto Nagatomo and Nemanja Vidic.
The Corriere dello Sport maintains Tottenham, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund all asked for information regarding Shaqiri’s situation.
