According to the Secolo XIX newspaper, Lerager has no particular desire to leave Marassi in the January transfer window, but he is the player attracting the most attention on the market.

The 27-year-old Denmark international was signed from Girondins de Bordeaux in 2019 for €6m and is still under contract until June 2023.

So far this season, he has contributed one goal and two assists in 19 competitive games for the Grifone.

The Serie A transfer window is on Monday at 19.00 GMT and Lerager is the subject of a bidding war between Torino, Brentford, Newcastle United and FC Copenhagen.

However, it’s reported he is not particularly eager on any of them, despite Genoa being in a relegation battle.
