Noa Lang has confirmed that no agreement with Milan has been met yet as he awaits a move away from Club Brugge.

The 22-year-old Dutch forward had a great season for the Belgian side, netting seven goals and providing 12 assists in 31 Jupiler Pro League appearances this season. The Rossoneri have been keeping a close eye on Lang for a while now and are reportedly keen to snap him up this summer.

Speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws from the Dutch national team training camp, Lang confirmed that Milan haven’t reached an agreement to sign him yet and that he’s willing to stay with Club Brugge for another year.

“For now there is no agreement with Milan or anyone else. I don’t know where this news is coming from. The agreement with Brugge is that if an offer comes in I can leave and we all agree on that, but it’s by no means certain that that game against Anderlecht was my last here.

“As long as I am under contract, and there is nothing concrete about a farewell, I will never refuse to play for the club. They don’t deserve it.

“Besides, for the same money, everything will blow up in August. Like last year. If I have to stay with Brugge again, I will do it with all my love. I love the club and I will always give 100%.”

The 22-year-old Lang initially joined Club Brugge on loan from Ajax in October 2020. He scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in his debut season, prompting the Belgian side to pay €6m to make his stay permanent. Club Brugge are now looking to sell him the Dutch forward for around €20m plus add-ons, which would be an incredible piece of business.
