European top clubs are monitoring Donnarumma’s situation in Milan and the club has already offered the goalkeeper a new deal worth €8m a season.

The rumours regarding the two stars future are not going away, as Calhanoglu has not renewed his deal since he arrived from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2017.

Pioli added during the press conference ahead of the match against Sampdoria on Saturday that qualifying for the Champions League could be crucial in terms of keeping both the Italy goalkeeper and the Turkey international.

“Their future is for us now,” the coach said. “It would change everything to qualify for the Champions League.

“But I see them very concentrated and attentive.”
