Defender Ciani pulled up during today’s training session with a muscular problem and will undergo further tests on Thursday to ascertain the extent of the damage.
“We will also evaluate Mauri over the next two days to see whether he will be available. He was out for 10 days and on antibiotics for a throat infection, so we’ll see if he needs to push forward with the Juventus game coming up,” said chief medic Roberto Bianchini on Lazio Style Radio.
“The response from the player was positive and we’ll decide all together whether he can play on Saturday or if it’s best to not rush things.
“From tomorrow Stefan Radu will be back training with the squad.”
