Chievo will stay in Serie A for the 2018-19 season after the FIGC ended its investigation into allegations they deliberately inflated the figures of transfer dealings with Cesena.
The Verona club were accused by the prosecution of inflating the value of player transfers by up to 9000 per cent, in order to make them appear more valuable than they were.
Cesena, who were in Serie B last season, have since been declared bankrupt and are currently not registered to play in a League next term.

It had been thought that Chievo could be handed a 15 point deduction from last season’s Serie A table, which would have sent them down to the second tier and handed a reprive to relegated Crotone.
The Prosecutor also called for Flying Donkeys President Luca Campedelli to face a 36-month ban for his part in the affair.
However, Italian football’s governing body has announced that it ‘cannot advance’ the investigation any further, meaning Chievo will take their place in the top-flight once more.
Despite a reprieve for Chievo, Cesena did not escape punishment. In the event that they reform and register with a League in time for next season, they will start the new campaign on -15 points.
