Chievo have a meeting with Napoli for Jonathan de Guzman and Alberto Grassi as the former player's agent confirms an interest.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Carpi, and the scant consideration he received from Coach Maurizio Sarri suggests a move is more than likely.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gialloblu will be meeting the Partenopei today to discuss the player's transfer. The basis of the operation would be a loan, with Napoli contributing a part of the salary.

Furthermore the transfer could end up involving 21-year-old Alberto Grassi, who is also being eyed by Chievo on a loan basis with a buy-back option.
De Guzman's agent Fabio Parisi was contacted by TuttoMercatoWeb and asked whether he could confirm that the meeting was taking place.
“You'd have to ask the clubs, I can only confirm that Chievo like De Guzman quite a lot.
“They've shown some interest in the player, but talks are still at an early phase.”
