Federico Chiesa has welcomed Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus as he makes the move over from Fiorentina.
Chiesa transferred over to Juventus from Fiorentina himself back in October 2020 and he remembers the 22-year-old Serbian striker well from their two seasons together in Florence. The Italian winger also understands the incredibly hostile reaction to a move from the Viola to the Bianconeri and so can provide support in dealing with that.
As seen on Chiesa’s Instagram story, the Italian winger welcomed Vlahovic to Juventus, posting a photo of the pair and saying: “Happy birthday Vlahovic. And welcome to Juventus.”
Whilst an official announcement has not been made yet, Juventus have publicised photos of the Serbian striker taking his medicals with the club. The confirmation is expected to arrive at some point today.
Vlahovic has been at the centre of attention in this transfer window, with Arsenal in particular incredibly keen to secure his signature, but he only wanted to make the move to Turin.
