Federico Chiesa has been left disappointed by Juventus and has reportedly put Roma at the top of his list should he depart this summer.

The 26-year-old Italian winger has just 12 months left on his contract with the Old Lady and is not convinced about the idea of signing a bridging contract with a lower salary than his current deal. He is also frustrated with the perceived differences between his treatment and that of Adrien Rabiot.

Fali Ramadani, the agent of Chiesa, has already started looking around for a new destination should his client leave Juventus this summer, holding talks with Napoli and Bayern Munich, but one club in particular have started to prove convincing.

Chiesa keen on Roma

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Chiesa was left impressed by a phone call with Daniele De Rossi recently and is growing increasingly tempted by the idea of a move to Roma this summer.

Ramadani will be in Trigoria next week to speak to the Giallorossi directors, who are interested in snapping up the talented Italian winger. His €40m price tag is considered excessive, so negotiations will be needed to try and iron out an agreement.

  1. Your career is finished once a starter from a big club moved to a middle table team like Roma.
Boniek and Dybala are two examples.
