Federico Chiesa’s future is still shrouded in doubt but links to the Premier League bode well for his career as his Juventus exit nears.
The 26-year-old Italian winger has been transfer listed by the Bianconeri heading into the second month of the summer transfer window, not considered part of Thiago Motta’s new project in Turin moving forward, something that was confirmed in their recent face-to-face meeting.
Juventus fans are excited to follow Motta’s debut campaign in charge and much anticipation will be felt in the Allianz Stadium, prompting many to rush for the latest Football tickets for the 2024-25 Serie A season.
Chiesa crossroads
Chiesa now finds himself in a difficult spot, unwanted at Juventus but having limited options in Italy. Earlier in the summer, he was heavily linked with moves to Roma and Napoli, but the former opted to invest in Matias Soule and the latter’s interest has cooled as they focus on shipping out Victor Osimhen and bringing in Romelu Lukaku.
In recent days, Corriere dello Sport reported that the Italian winger’s agent Fali Ramadani flew to London to hold talks with Premier League clubs Tottenham and Chelsea, both of whom are keeping a close eye on his situation and are interested in a move.
Whilst his future is still uncertain heading into August, this summer seems to be the perfect time for Chiesa to make the change and take a breath of fresh air, having reached the end of a fairly tough four-year spell with Juventus.
The 26-year-old was considered to be one of the most promising up-and-coming Italians during his time with Fiorentina and his move to Turin was met with much excitement, but things ultimately didn’t go to plan with the Old Lady.
Chiesa did fairly well in his debut season with Juventus under Andrea Pirlo, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists across 46 matches, but this momentum wouldn’t keep up as the more pragmatic and defensively minded Massimiliano Allegri took over in the dugout the following summer.
Only months into his second campaign in Turin, the winger suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury, an issue some feel he still hasn’t truly bounced back from. He struggled to recapture his magic under Allegri and his stocks quickly began to fall in the two full seasons after his return.
Heading off to the Premier League gives Chiesa the chance to find a fresh start, allowing him to prove himself at the highest level in a more progressive environment, something that should only come as good news for the Italy national team.
Zaniolo 2.0 He will go to an unstable club, will mainly be used off the bench, will only be able to get in on the left because of palmer and madueke etc. He won’t settle, and then next season he will either be in the saudi pro league or back in italy with Monza.
He has been way below expectations and so is V9. Another bad and costy transfer from Fio.

His mistake was going to play for Allegri. That was 1st and foremost his mistake. He will do well under the right coach and team.
He will not start a single game. He will bench warm for a season and then be sold to Turkish team for a cut price.

Don’t ever compare Chiesa with Zaniolo again please! Let’s not forget Chiesa fully fit & on top of his game is truly amazing, he ripped everyone at Euro2020 everyone knows how good he is, especially Italians.
