According to Tuttosport newspaper, Liverpool are ‘in the front row’ for Juventus and Italy star Federico Chiesa, but Sportitalia suggests Antonio Conte’s Napoli are also interested.

Chiesa’s future in Turin remains uncertain as his Juventus contract expires in June 2025.

Monday’s printed edition of Tuttosport newspaper, on page 13, claims an agreement until 2026 is still possible, even if considerable progress has yet to be made in negotiations between the club and the striker’s agent, Fali Ramadani.

Chiesa: Liverpool in the front row for Juventus ace, but Conte and Napoli loom – reports

Tuttosport also confirms that new Juventus coach Motta may be looking to different players for his ideal XI in Turin so it’s not entirely clear whether the ex-Fiorentina star will remain at the Allianz Stadium beyond the summer.

The Turin-based paper claims Premier League giants Liverpool are in the front row for Chiesa, even if other clubs such as Roma, Milan and Bayer Munich remain interested.

As per Sportitalia journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Napoli will also join the race. Conte, the leading candidate to take over at the Stadio Maradona, is a long-time admirer of the Italian star and has already tried to bring him to Inter in 2020 when Chiesa joined Juventus instead.

  1. Please stay with a Serie A club. Liverpool will bench you and let you play 5-10 minutes as sub. All EPL clubs treat Italian stars very disrespectfully.
