“It’s true we are missing important players, and others that aren’t at their best, but we are Juve and that must not be an alibi. Full stop. Now we have to focus on Tuesday’s game, because we still believe in the Scudetto,” Chiesa told DAZN.
“We have to give credit to Verona, as they pushed to the end and took home a draw. We are angry, because we should’ve held onto our lead, although they took control when the fatigue hit us in the last half-hour.
“Despite that, we are Juventus and we ought to be winning these games. It’s not experience, these are just tiny details we are missing. We will learn from this for the future.
“Nonetheless, I and everyone at Juventus still believe in the Scudetto and will keep fighting to the end.”
Chiesa was irritated when asked how they could improve their attacking output, especially as Cristiano Ronaldo has scored three of their last four Serie A goals.
“We scored three goals against Crotone and they could’ve been six. We had the chances, we had taken the lead, so we should’ve done better to hold on.
“I don’t understand this evaluation of the team.”

“I was up against Federico Dimarco and waited because I thought that one of my teammates would follow up the move. I waited a moment to see if I needed to go it alone, but then I saw Cristiano and passed it.
