Federico Chiesa has ended 2022-23 with goals for Juventus and Italy, but his future in Turin remains uncertain, with several clubs reportedly interested, including Liverpool.

The Italian winger scored a goal in the Old Lady’s last game of the season against Udinese earlier in June and added one more in Italy’s 3-2 victory over The Netherlands in the Nations League third-place play off this past Sunday.

Chiesa is one of the favourite players of Juventus fans, but this may not be enough to keep him in Turin beyond the summer.

The Old Lady still need €80m from sales after Dejan Kulusevski’s permanent transfer to Tottenham as they must make up for missing Champions League revenues in 2023-24.

Several sources claim Chiesa is unhappy at the Allianz Stadium so his departure over the summer is on the cards.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport reported earlier in June that Juventus will listen to offers for the ex-Fiorentina winger during the summer transfer window with Liverpool, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich among the clubs interested.

Chiesa admitted after Italy’s win over The Netherlands on Sunday that the season has been tough for him.

“It has been a very difficult year for me, it ended better than it started. It will already be an improvement that next season I will be able to take part in training with the rest of the team, which I’ve not been able to do for a while.”

The 25-year-old’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2025 and his price tag is believed to be in the region of €40m.
