Tuttosport newspaper reports that Federico Chiesa has emptied his locker at Juventus and is ready to join Barcelona as soon as the Catalans make room on the wage bill.

Italy international Chiesa is ready to join Barcelona. The latest report from Tuttosport newspaper claims that the Juventus winger has emptied his locker at Continassa and is waiting for the Catalans to make room on the wage bill.

The report claims that Juventus will receive €12m from the player’s sale, which would provide the financial resources to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United on loan.

According to the report, Chiesa has also agreed to personal terms with the Catalans.

It is believed that Barcelona only sent a verbal offer to Juventus, given their current financial issues.

Once they register Dani Olmo and cut their wage bill further, they’ll be able to send a formal offer to Juventus and sign Chiesa as well.

Fabrizio Romano says Chiesa is keen to join Barcelona, but the Catalans haven’t yet sent an official proposal.

  1. Why do you report anything from Tuttosport? They’re full of BS. Even Fabrizio Romano himself said Barça have not made any official proposal.
