Federico Chiesa is recovering well from his cruciate ligament rupture and is hoping to return to action for Juventus soon.

The 24-year-old Italian winger suffered the serious injury during a 4-3 win over Roma back in January of this year, ending his season instantly. He has continued to slowly work towards a return, although a minor setback in the summer delayed things by a few weeks.

As reported by Sky Sports Italia, Chiesa has not suffered any further complications and is now hoping to return to full squad training at some point in the coming weeks. The 24-year-old is aiming to return to action by the end of the upcoming international break, allowing him to play a little ahead of the World Cup break in November.

The re-entry of Chiesa is fundamental for the Bianconeri, who have looked poor going forward this season. Massimiliano Allegri is facing the pressure in Turin and the 24-year-old could help paper the cracks once he’s fully fit.

  1. PhD Max awaits to complete the destruction of a player who exploded under Sir Pirlo. Maybe the legend of coma calcio can deploy him as a regista or left back if he does not make a big impact. Cannot blame him as they have a cowboy plumber as their coach.

  2. and by cowboy plumber you mean that PhD Max services your pipes by riding you hard on a nightly basis.
What are you to do but each other?!

  3. Good to see the pantyhose tag team back. But they never come to play when their beloved square back fails. Shame they were quiet and had to hide when the 7/9 put on a coma calcio clinic at home as well to mighty Benfica. No shame as the Lisbon giants are historically a much bigger and more respected team.

  4. @Lord
What a sad, defensive little troll you are. You and your couple of equally butt hurt acolytes need to get out a bit more, smell the roses, get a bit of sun instead of being consumed by trying to bring down one of the world’s biggest clubs.

  5. Plenty of sun here in the sunshine state dude who uses my name. Better for you to stay off Hiroshima Max for a while as you are addicted to atomic bomb coma calcio my love.
