Juventus are preparing for a home Serie A game against Empoli on Saturday but will surely be without Adrien Rabiot against the Tuscans.

Football Italia understands the French midfielder, and Federico Chiesa continued to train separately at Continasa on Wednesday morning. The Italy star will be assessed before Saturday’s game at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

New signing Tiago Djalò partially trained with the rest of the team this morning. Djalò hasn’t played a competitive game since March 2023 due to a cruciate ligament injury.

The Portuguese defender has recently joined the Bianconeri on a €3.5m transfer from Ligue 1 side Lille and will be unveiled at a press conference in Turin on Thursday, January 25.

Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus have only lost one Serie A game this season and are the table leaders with a one-point lead over Inter, but the Nerazzurri have a game in hand.
