Chiellini’s future torn between Juve and MLS

Giorgio Chiellini will soon decide whether to continue with Juventus or try out a new adventure in the MLS.

The 37-year-old Italian centre back decided to retire from the Italian national team a few days ago, following the team’s failure to qualify for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. This qualification failure has massively affected the veteran defender, who is now considering a change in plans.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Chiellini had renewed his contract with Juventus for two years last summer, planning to end his career in Turin, but the failure to qualify for the World Cup has led him to consider a new adventure in America.

The Italian defender is keen to try out something new in the twilight of his career, following in the footsteps of Napoli talisman Lorenzo Insigne, who is on the way to Toronto FC.

Chiellini has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season, playing 1442 minutes of action.
