Juventus are reportedly bringing Chiellini back to the club, but it is not Giorgio, rather his twin brother Claudio in a directorial role.
According to Sportitalia, a deal is practically done for Claudio Chiellini to take over as the chief of the Next Gen team, the youth squad that plays in Serie C.
It would be a return to Turin for Chiellini, who had also worked from 2014-21 as the director responsible for the players out on loan, but also from 2018 to 2021 as Team Manager for the Under-23 team.
For the last two seasons, he had been working as director of sport at Pisa in Serie B.
There had also been an approach from Sampdoria, who were just relegated to Serie B and managed to avoid bankruptcy with the Andrea Radrizzani takeover.
His brother Giorgio wore the Juventus jersey from 2005 to 2022, when he left as a free agent for a new experience in MLS with LAFC.
