“It feels a little strange. It’s the start of a new season and every year we raise the bar higher and try to go beyond our limits,” Chiellini told Sky Sport Italia of his new role following Gigi Buffon’s departure.
“Cristiano’s arrival pushes us to go further and now we have to put that on to the field.
“Chievo are always very organised and aggressive, so we’ve got to match them on that level, because if we do that then the quality we have in attack is extraordinary.
