Giorgio Chiellini said goodbye to Juventus with a lengthy video interview, looking back over the most famous images of his tenure, focusing on the rapport with Gigi Buffon, Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci.

The 37-year-old is heading to MLS with LAFC as a free agent and has played his final game for Italy too, as he moves into the final years of his career.

He sat down with Juventus TV to look through old pictures and described his emotions seeing the BBBC.

“We shared 10 years together. This photograph will bring a tear to the eye of a few Juventus fans, not just me. Gigi is genuine, he involves you in everything he does. Barzagli is a rock, on the field and off, who can be authoritative and at the same time joke around with the younger players.

“Leo has this energy that he passes on to everyone, this inexhaustible strength within him. He overcame mountains that seemed insurmountable, proving his detractors wrong so many times.”

Other highlights include the eternal image of Chiellini with a bandaged and bloodied head.
