Giorgio Chiellini again trained separately from the rest of the Italy squad today, while Alessandro Florenzi remained in the gym, as both are unlikely to face Austria.

The Round of 16 fixture kicks off on Saturday at 20.00 UK time at Wembley Stadium in London.

Roberto Mancini oversaw the training session today, which again saw Chiellini running, but separately from his teammates.

He missed the 1-0 win over Wales, having limped off early into the 3-0 victory over Switzerland with a muscular problem, and probably won’t be risked from the start for Austria.

Florenzi worked only in the gym and was not seen on the pitch at all, so he seems to be out of the knockout fixture.

That means the defence should see Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Francesco Acerbi line up with Leonardo Bonucci and Leonardo Spinazzola.

In midfield, the question remains between Marco Verratti and Manuel Locatelli, who want to join Jorginho and Nicolò Barella.

The trident attack seems set, with Domenico Berardi, Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne.

Italy (probable): Donnarumma; Di Lorenzo, Acerbi, Bonucci, Spinazzola; Barella, Jorginho, Verratti; Berardi, Immobile, Insigne
