Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez confessed Real Madrid had a “learning curve” in their 2-1 defeat to Juventus.
The first leg of the Champions League semi-final went to the hosts in Turin thanks to Alvaro Morata, a Carlos Tevez penalty and temporary Cristiano Ronaldo equaliser.
“The feeling is negative because we lost the game. We fought until the end but still left with a one-goal deficit,” said Chicharito.

“The feeling is negative because we lost the game. We fought until the end but still left with a one-goal deficit,” said Chicharito.
“We have to remain calm and use this [defeat] as a learning curve because there’s no small teams left in this competition.
“The Coach asked us to show character and did what we’d done in the League. [Juve] had a great game and now we have to try to win the return match.
“I’ve always said that you have to respect every decision [made by the Coach], but no player likes sitting on the bench.
“From [Wednesday], we have to swallow this [result] and start thinking about Valencia, who are also fighting for the League.”
