Fiorentina and Chelsea are reportedly in talks to avoid FIFA arbitration over the Mohamed Salah saga.
The Egyptian international joined the Viola in January on loan as part of the Juan Guillermo Cuadrado transfer.
This deal included an option to extend the loan by a year for €1m and another option to buy for €18m in 2016.
While the Italian club paid the €1m, Salah claimed he had power of veto and refused to attend pre-season training.

The Viola argue he missed the deadline for the veto and that the private agreement was not part of the original contract signed by Salah, so is not recognised by the Lega Serie A.
Fiorentina threatened legal action and FIFA arbitration, so Sky Sport Italia report the two clubs are holding talks today to find an amicable solution.
The Tuscans want their €1m back from Chelsea along with payment for raising the player’s value during his six-month spell in Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia.
Fiorentina also said they would take legal action against Inter and Roma if the sides were shown to have approached Salah when he was under contract with them.
