According to Sky Sport Italia, Antonio Conte wants Nainggolan at Stamford Bridge, but his new club will not go beyond €30m (£23.7m).

Roma want a minimum of €35m for Nainggolan, ideally over €40m, so at these prices they are highly unlikely to sell.

Chelsea could propose a series of performance-related bonuses to sweeten the deal.

There are also growing reports Bayern Munich are close to signing Miralem Pjanic.

If that is the case, the Giallorossi would not be prepared to lose both star midfielders the same summer.
