Italy Under-21 international Cesare Casadei is reportedly going to interrupt his loan experience at Leicester City to join the Chelsea squad.
The Inter youth academy product was sold to Chelsea in the summer of 2022 for €15m and immediately sent out on a series of loan spells at Reading and then Leicester City.
He impressed so much this season with three goals and two assists in 25 games in all competitions that Chelsea have decided to call him back to base at Stamford Bridge.
Casadei turned 21 only last week and has seven caps for Italy at Under-21 level, as well as nine for the Under-20 side.
The Daily Telegraph claim that coach Mauricio Pochettino wants the creative midfielder to be part of his team from this month.
That story is also confirmed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, so Casadei is moving up to the Premier League.
He is under contract with Chelsea until June 2028.
In turn, Leicester City will likely try to replace Casadei by signing Stefano Sensi from Inter.
