Milan are aiming to pick up Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer transfer window and have been made aware of the Chelsea midfielder’s price tag, reports detail.

The Rossoneri picked up Belgian talent Aster Vranckx on loan last summer from VfL Wolfsburg but the player has hardly made a splash in Lombardy and is expected to be sent back to Germany in the summer, pushing Milan to search for a new midfielder.

Milan have been interested in Loftus-Cheek for months now and started discussing the idea with Chelsea during their Champions League clash in West London back in October.

As reported by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Chelsea are happy to sell Loftus-Cheek in the summer and have set a €25m price tag on the English midfielder, a figure Milan are happy with.

The next stage now is for the Rossoneri to try and convince the 27-year-old of the move to North Italy. One factor that could help is Fikayo Tomori’s experiences at both clubs and happiness in Lombardy.
