Scouts from Premier League side Chelsea were reportedly in attendance for Bologna’s recent 2-1 victory over Milan to keep an eye on centre-back Sam Beukema, who is also of interest to a number of Europe’s top clubs according to Sunday’s reports.
Beukema lined up as a starter at centre-back alongside Nicolo Casale for Bologna’s 2-1 victory in their rearranged fixture against Milan on Thursday night. The Rossoblu fell behind to a Rafael Leao opener just before half-time, but fought back in the second half through Dan Ndoye and Santiago Castro to claim the three points.
Beukema had a relatively sound performance on the whole, coming away with an average rating of 7/10 from the Italian press.

In attendance for Bologna’s victory over Milan were scouts from Chelsea, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Premier League outfit are reportedly keeping a close eye on the uncapped Dutchman ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to Sunday’s reports, Juventus, Inter and Atletico Madrid are also among the parties interested in snapping up a deal for the 26-year-old in the coming months.
