According to multiple reports in Italy, Chelsea have rejected Juventus‘ loan offer for Ruben Loftus Cheek and the Bianconeri won’t let Arthur join Arsenal without a replacement.

Tuttosport newspaper and Calciomercato.com report the Blues have already informed Juventus that they won’t let the 25-year-old leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary deal in January.

Juventus are struggling financially, so they can only sign new players on a free transfer or on loan with an option to buy.

Surely, the 2021 Champions League winners are not open to loaning Loftus Cheek for just six months, so Juventus must continue their search for a potential replacement for Arthur.

The Gunners want to loan the Brazilian midfielder until the end of the season, paying his salary until June.

Arthur is not a regular starter in Turin, but Juventus must first find a replacement for the former Barcelona man.

Juventus coach Allegri commented on the Brazilian midfielder’s status during today’s press conference, suggesting that he won’t leave Turin in January.

“I don’t want to repeat myself. We have to get to the end of the season with t these players in the best possible way. This means trying to reach the top four and go ahead in the Champions League and Coppa Italia,” Allegri said.

  1. lol Rube asking Chelsea for Cheeky Loftus Cheek someone who does not even get playing time at that club. So hilarious to see the downfall of a European minnow who gave Marotta’s job to a guy who made Ferrari worse.

  2. If Juve want to be a big club they nees to start acting like one. For all his faults, 25 Years ago this would not be happening with Luciano Moggi.
