Chelsea are reportedly ready for a new round of talks with Inter as they look to find a deal for talented youngster Cesare Casadei.
The 19-year-old Italian forward is one of the most exciting prospects in the Nerazzurri youth system and last season he scored 13 goals in 29 Primavera 1 appearances. Inter’s financial issues means that they’re forced to sell this summer and selling Casadei could be the key to avoid losing first team players.
As highlighted by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are big fans of Casadei and they’re refusing to give up in their chase of the 19-year-old, so they’ve scheduled a new round of talks with Inter for next week.
The Blues are planning a new bid to try and agree a deal with the Nerazzurri, hoping to beat out competition from Nice and Sassuolo.
Inter value Casadei at around €15m and recent reports suggested that Chelsea were ready to pay around €10m, although they could improve upon this in an attempt to secure the teenager’s signature soon.
