Chelsea are preparing to send Tiemoue Bakayoko to Milan, Davide Zappacosta to Fiorentina and Malang Sarr to Bologna.
The Champions League and UEFA European Supercup winners are whittling down their squad with several loan deals for Serie A clubs.
According to multiple reports including Sky Sport Italia, the latest option has centre-back Sarr in negotiations for a loan move to Bologna.
He is also targeted by Benfica, but the Rossoblu appear to be the favourites at this stage.
The 22-year-old has just completed another loan spell at FC Porto.
Meanwhile, Bakayoko has agreed personal terms with Milan and is expected to be given the all-clear over the next few days for his medical.
It would be a return to San Siro for the 27-year-old midfielder, who had already played for the Rossoneri in 2018-19.
As for Zappacosta, he was also wanted by Atalanta, but is on the verge of a transfer to Fiorentina, on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old joined Chelsea from Torino in 2017 for €25m, but had consecutive Serie A loans at Roma and then Genoa.
