PSG, Inter and Manchester United were rumoured to be possible destinations for the Italian coach who is now reported to be a target of Roma, should Paulo Fonseca face sacking.

According to Sky Italia journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea, who have now sacked their head coach Frank Lampard, have never contacted Allegri to offer him the job at Stamford Bridge.

Former PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is expected to move to South London to replace the Chelsea legend.

Lampard was appointed Chelsea boss to replace Maurizio Sarri in 2019, but failed to win a single piece of silverware and registered a worst point average than the former Juventus coach.
