Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has arrived in Italy to complete his Milan transfer, on a two-year loan with option to buy.

The former Monaco and Napoli man is expected to undergo his medical tomorrow.

According to the latest reports in Italy, this is a two-season loan with option to buy in 2023 for €15m.

There will also be clauses included making this an obligation to buy if Bakayoko makes a certain number of appearances for the club.

The 27-year-old had to extend his contract with Chelsea first, as it had been due to expire at the end of this season.

He spent last term on loan at Napoli in Serie A, but this also represents a return to San Siro.

Bakayoko wore the Milan jersey during another loan in 2018-19, scoring one goal in 42 competitive games for the Rossoneri.

Chelsea had paid €40m to sign the midfielder from AS Monaco in 2017, but he barely ever played for the Blues, going out on a series of loans.
