Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea chief executive Marina Granovskaia will meet Juventus tomorrow to discuss Daniele Rugani and Gonzalo Higuain.

The Blues are keen to sign the centre-back, who worked with new Coach Maurizio Sarri at Empoli.

Higuain, meanwhile, appears to be surplus to requirements after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival, and had the best season of his career with Sarri at Napoli.

According to calciomercato.com, Granovskaia will meet the Old Lady's sporting director Fabio Paratici tomorrow on the Cote d’Azur, with Chelsea planning to offer €90-100m for both players.

That is on the low end of what Juve are looking for, as they want at least €60m for Higuain and around €50m for Rugani.

If the Italian is sold, it could open up negotiations with Milan for Leonardo Bonucci.

Yesterday general manager Giuseppe Marotta said there was no space for the Rossoneri captain in the squad, but the sale of a defender could change that.
