Chelsea have entered the race with Juventus and Tottenham for Roma star Nicolo Zaniolo, reports claim.

The 23-year-old Italian has been heavily linked with a move away from the Italian capital this month, despite Jose Mourinho’s desire to retain the talented forward. In a press conference yesterday, the Portuguese coach again discussed Zaniolo’s future, suggesting that the question of his future is better directed at Tiago Pinto.

As reported by La Repubblica, Chelsea have emerged to join the race with Juventus and Tottenham for Zaniolo. All three clubs are expected to send in concrete offers at some point this week, keen to snap up the 23-year-old before the transfer window ends in less than two weeks.

Roma’s management have made it clear to both Zaniolo’s entourage and Mourinho himself that they’re ready to listen to offers and move forward with any particularly interesting ones. It would likely cost over €50m to secure the Italian forward’s signature this month.

  1. zaniolo will not develop properly under mourinho so yes, he should move to work with conte/tuchel/allegri

  2. well under allegri he will most certainly develop more than under mourinho.. but yes, conte and/or tuchel would be better mentors in terms of his development and reaching full potential

  3. CALMAAA!!!

PhD Max does not want him as he cannot play right wing back, regista or as a center back. Rabiot, Arthur and Roberto Carlos (Sandro) are there future. 4th spot tripleta is not guaranteed.

  4. He is not old enough for Mad Max and he wont be a guaranteed starter at Spurs or Chelsea. He is best staying with Roma. Forza Roma.

  5. yes, he will absolutely start at spurs/chelsea, guess what that’s why they’re offering 50 million… mourinho does not know how develop players and that’s why boy should move elsewhere
