N’Golo Kante, Marc Cucurella and Edouard Mendy were back in Chelsea training this morning on the eve of Wednesday’s Champions League match with Milan.

The Rossoneri travel to London for the third Champions League group stage game against the Blues tomorrow.

Chelsea trained at Cobham this morning and, as reported by Football London, Graham Potter saw Kante, Cucurella and Mendy return to training after missing Saturday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

The France World Cup winner has only played two games this season and has been out of action since August 14 due to a muscle problem.

Mendy has missed the last two Premier League games and was replaced by Kepa Arrizabalaga, but the Senegal international is expected to return between the sticks against Milan tomorrow.

The Rossoneri have been severely hit by injuries and will travel to Stamford Bridge without several regular starters, including Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria and Alexis Saelemakers.

Divock Origi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alessandro Florenzi and Simon Kjaer are also out of action, Junior Messias is in doubt after missing Saturday’s trip to Empoli.

Milan boss Stefano Pioli will hold a press conference in London today at 19.20 UK time.
