Sky Sport Italia reports Inter starlet Cesare Casadei will fly to England tomorrow to complete a €20m move to Chelsea.

The U19 Italy international is on the verge of joining the Premier League giants on a permanent €15m deal plus €5m add-ons.

According to the report, the promising midfielder is expected to leave for England tomorrow and will undergo his medical with the Blues on Thursday, August 18.

Inter must sell some of their most valuable assets to balance the books. Andrea Pinamonti has joined Sassuolo for circa €20m and Casadei is now on the verge of leaving the Serie A giants for a similar fee.

Inter didn’t reach an agreement to sell Milan Skriniar to PSG so the Slovakia international is now expected to remain at Inter.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in Denzel Dumfries, but Simone Inzaghi has made it clear that he does not want to see any of his stars leaving in the last two weeks of the summer transfer window.

  1. Wonder which Serie A club will be lucky enough to get him on lo.an because he sure as shiz won’t be playing for Chelsea.

The people who complain about lack of Italians in Serie A, this is why. Clubs have to sell their best and what’s left is not as good as foreign talent.

  2. Another wasted talent for inter.

And the money will be used to cover the salary of useless old donkeys like dzeko…

    Terrible management in this club.

  3. For everyone blaming the team, do you think the situation would be different if teams were able to own their own stadia and generate vastly greater income to avoid forced sales? Should Italian bureaucracy be at fault here?

  4. Inter selling another of their young core of talent to try to balance the books. Amazing when you consider the old players on their roster with inflated wages that do not seem to add much to the cause. Hard to understand the logic in moving young talent in order to keep older players. This young man will be worth 3 times what he was sold for in two years.

  5. Good for him! I hope he gets some playing time in Chelsea. Inter felt like they wouldn’t need him so good for them. Both parties happy.

  6. @Milan Fan

Do you know the future, Nostradamus? Inter sold Balotelli but didn’t regret it. Inter offloaded Zaniolo but won the Scudetto, Super Cup and Coppa Italia without him. Most ither youth players, plenty of them, end up at lower league clubs.

Lukukukuku? You are making fun of a player who scored in every Milan derby against your team you know that right? Genius. Oh and Lukaku will be bought for a fraction of what Chelsea paid Inter to buy him in 2021, so Chelsea will end up losing money, not Inter
