Chelsea are reportedly ready to dive in with a €70m proposal for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker, sending Thibaut Courtois to Real Madrid.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, a goalkeeping merry-go-round is in full swing.

Alisson has been targeted by Liverpool and Real Madrid so far, but neither club got close to the valuation of €70m plus performance-related bonuses.

Once Maurizio Sarri is formally hired as the new manager of Chelsea, they can begin their transfer strategy in earnest.

In turn, Chelsea would send their Belgium international Courtois to Real Madrid, as he has only one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
