Fabrizio Romano reports that Chelsea see Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku as ‘separate deals’ while the Napoli forward is unwilling to leave the Stadio Maradona on loan.

Chelsea are unwilling to discuss a swap deal involving strikers Lukaku and Osimhen, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Lukaku is not part of the Blues’ plans, but the Premier League side don’t want to loan him out. Sky Sport Italia reported earlier this week that Napoli had offered €30m, including add-ons, but Chelsea’s asking price is €43m.

Romano confirms that Napoli have already agreed to personal talks with Lukaku, while negotiations with Chelsea are still ongoing.

At the same time, Enzo Maresca’s side have re-opened talks to sign Osimhen, informing Napoli that they may try to get the player on an initial loan deal in the final days.

The Nigeria international wants to leave the Stadio Maradona but is not open to a loan move or lowering his salary.
