Roma could be about to make a profit without lifting a finger, as it’s reported Chelsea are ready to pay €33m for their former player Gerson.
The midfielder flopped during his brief stay with the Giallorossi from 2016-2018 and didn’t impress much more when on loan at Fiorentina.
He was sold to Flamengo in 2019 for €11.8m, but the deal includes a clause giving Roma 10 per cent of any profit from his next sale.

If the reports in Brazil and America are to be believed, then Chelsea are on the verge of paying €33m for the 23-year-old.
It would give Roma 10 per cent of the profit, which on top of €11.8m would be €21.2m, bringing the Giallorossi €2.1m.
Gerson was very young when he made the €18.6m move from Fluminense to the Stadio Olimpico in the summer of 2016.
