Chelsea are thinking about making a January move for Inter wing back Ivan Perisic, who will be a free agent in the summer.
The Premier League side are looking for a new left wing back following the serious injury to Ben Chilwell; currently coach Thomas Tuchel can only rely on Marcos Alonso, and so the Blues are looking to sign a reinforcement this month.
As reported by The Mirror, Chelsea are interested in the 32-year-old Perisic, with Tuchel appreciating the fact that the player can play on both the left and right sides of the pitch. His contract expires at the end of the season, so Inter would be willing to sell him this month in order to generate a little cash.
Fellow Premier League sides Tottenham and Arsenal have also expressed interest but Perisic would be more keen to make the move to the west of London, rather than the north. Updates are expected over the coming days, with only two weeks left in the transfer window.

This article is wrong. Inter don’t even have a backup for Perisic so there’s zero chance they sell him in the middle of a title battle…
@InterMN there’s di Marco and darmian
Unless it’s 10-15m euros it isn’t worth our time, he is THAT good for us 🙂
Would be big blow if he leave.
He can leave for free in summer, until then he has some trophies to wrap up 😉
