It is reported that Chelsea are unlikely to name Maurizio Sarri as their next Coach due to ‘concerns over previous behaviour’.
Chelsea’s interest in Sarri appeared to have cooled due to their reluctance over paying the €8m needed to release him from his Napoli contract.
However, Sky Sports claims the real reason for the Blues going cold on the 58-year-old is his past transgressions.

Chelsea’s interest in Sarri appeared to have cooled due to their reluctance over paying the €8m needed to release him from his Napoli contract.
However, Sky Sports claims the real reason for the Blues going cold on the 58-year-old is his past transgressions.
Sarri was branded a ‘racist’ and a ‘homophobe’ by Roberto Mancini after Inter’s 2-0 victory over the Partenopei in January 2016, the Italy CT claiming he had been on the receiving end of slurs.
He is also for his smoking habit and was often seen smoking during Napoli’s games, prior to being replaced by Carlo Ancelotti last week.
Chelsea knew about Sarri's past when they first considered him. If they don't end up appointing him it will have nothing to do with his previous history and everything to do with money. If his lawyers can make him a free agent let's see what happens. If not..
