Chelsea have reportedly contacted Inter to sound out a possible deal for goalkeeper Andre Onana ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old Cameroonian shot stopper joined the Nerazzurri last summer on a free transfer after ending a seven-year spell with Ajax, being brought in to be the long-term replacement for Samir Handanovic.
After missing Inter’s first eight Serie A games of the season, Onana has now become the clear number one in the Lombardy capital, keeping 14 clean sheets in 27 games across all competitions.
As reported by TMW, Chelsea are looking to bring in a new goalkeeper to replace Edouard Mendy, who is set to be sold, and have asked Inter for information about Onana.
Other Premier League clubs are also keeping a close eye on the Cameroonian shot stopper, but the Todd Boehly-backed Blues currently sit in pole position in a possible race for the 26-year-old.
