Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in Genoa’s 16-year-old striking sensation Pietro Pellegri after Inter, Milan and Juventus.
The centre-forward already found the net on his Serie A debut in May against Roma, then came off the bench to bag a brace in Sunday night’s 3-2 defeat to Lazio.
It is absolutely no secret that Milan, Juve and Inter were in intensive negotiations to sign both Pellegri and his 15-year-old teammate Eddy Salcedo for a combined €60m over the summer.

Now they have new contenders from England, specifically Antonio Conte’s Chelsea and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, according to Il Secolo XIX newspaper.
Manchester United had already approached Pellegri in 2015, offer his father Marco a position at the club to help ease the process, but the family preferred to remain in Italy.
Marco is now a team manager at Genoa, where he works with Coach Ivan Juric, a long-term friend.
Pellegri made history as the youngest player to score a Serie A brace, aged 16 years and 184 days, beating the record set by Silvio Piola.
