Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, says Victor Osimhen will join a Saudi team next summer, but his client ‘is different’ and would rather play for Barcelona, Real Madrid or Manchester City.
Kvaratskhelia’s representative Mamuka Jugeli is convinced Napoli star Osimhen will join a Saudi Pro League club next summer. The Nigeria international has recently signed a contract extension with Napoli, which reportedly includes a €120-130m clause.
“Osimhen signed a new contract, but do you really think he will spend his entire career at Napoli?” Jugeli said in an interview with Georgian media 1Tv, as quoted by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I can already tell you he will go to Saudi Arabia next summer. Napoli have raised his salary, but Khvicha would not accept such a transfer even for €1 billion. He’d rather play for Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or Manchester City. Kvaratskhelia has different targets and preferences.”
Osimhen’s new deal expires in June 2026 and Premier League clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with securing his services at the end of the season.
“Kvaratskhelia wants to have success, and he is already achieving it. He is among the best three players in the world. All will happen at the right time, it’s still early. No team would reject the chance to sign him,” continued the Georgian’s agent.
“Those who know football agree that he has no limits and can only improve. I’ve had contacts with the club. But will De Laurentiis let him leave? Right now, we are tied to a contract.”
Kvaratskhelia joined Napoli in a €13m deal from Georgian side Dinamo Batumi in 2022 and significantly contributed to the Partenopei’s first Serie A title in 33 years last term with 12 goals and 13 assists in 34 league matches.
His contract at the Stadio Maradona runs out in June 2027 and Napoli have publicly denied that they’ll offer their star a new deal anytime soon.
